We've seen pictures from the factory coming loaded on new iPhones before, but this is the first time we've seen what appear to be intentional snapshots loaded on a new iPhone. Surprise: the person who put your iPhone together is an cute girl! (story)

I hope not. Cool little personal things like this that make a company look like it is composed of real people, and not just autonomous corpobots at the top make me more inclined to purchase their product, not less.

I would love to see a pic snapped of the person who put my iPhone together. It would be a rather nice way to move commerece away from the faceless scary globalism back to the small town feel of a local guy crafting something for you.

Agreed. It'd be a real hit with Nike.

The Chang family has been very biologically successful.

Literally so (matches and gas); she's a worker in a Chinese factory, she gave bad example......

Come on bad jokes are great. With whom would we laugh if we didn't have those with the bad jokes to laugh at their stupidity?

"Got into an accident" would likely be the result.

I'm sure she's fine - In the same faraway paradise as Mr. Zhang Liang, the tank guy, and the winners from the last season of Running Man.

I'd like to see this become a regular feature on iPhones!

TedTschopp is right, it brings a little humanity back to the world.

Why, it doesn't show any trade secrets only an employee

Not likely. I think they use the electric chair now.

From what I've seen on TV they're still using the firing squad. By the way, anyone find it odd that the History Channel is more than willing to show pirates get their brains blown out at point blank range without any censoring at all?

That was my first thought when I saw these pictures posted. Hopefully not, though.

Besides, she's not the one playing with the iPhone...her coworker across the bench is! This photo ought to, if anything, be proof of her innocence. And then if they blame her for smiling...well it would be better for the factory than to have pictures of sullen, overworked laborers.

I hope not, as well. She looks so happy. I wish I was half as happy-looking as she is, at work, no less.

Most likely she's been executed already. Firing an employee generate more paperwork.
