      Try clearing all your add-ons and themes that are laying around for FF2.. I had a similar problem on my XP laptop where FF3 would not start up. It seemed to have a conflict with a FF2 plugin, and after cleaning hem out with FF3 safe mode start up I was able to launch in full mode. Granted, I had to refind all my add-ons, but that isnt that big of a deal.

        same here, I didn't have to uninstall all my add-ons, just the ones that weren't supported on FF3, works great now
