    yeah, i was expecting to see the vehicle. I saw this car on the road the other day, not sure if this is the official google street view team or not, but it had the same cameras on top of the car. If so, then look for my car on Richmond Hwy just outside of Washington D.C. http://twitpic.com/13dd

        the crossing where i snapped that picture is Richmond Hwy and Buckman Road (alexandria, va 22309). The south end of buckman road (buckman joins richmond hwy twice). The car said www.immersivemedia.com, when i checked out the site they have some interesting stuff and they've been scanning all of Washington DC and its suburbs. Someone told me that they're doing stuff for Google.

      Seems like that guy didn't get the google van after all. Actual streetview here:
